On Thursday 21 November 2024, a Neighbourhood Plan Referendum took place in Wetheringsett-Cum-Brockford. Electors were asked:

Do you want Mid Suffolk District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Wetheringsett-Cum-Brockford to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Results were as follows:

No. of votes cast in favour of a NO	10	9.80%
