Report rough sleeping

An individual or family can find themselves facing homelessness, and may have no option but to sleep on the streets, in the open air, or in a car.

We support people who have been found rough sleeping, or who have a history of rough sleeping. This may be outreach support, where we visit them regularly and help them to find appropriate accommodation.

Alternatively, they may be offered interim accommodation in one of our approved bedspaces for rough sleepers.

You can report a rough sleeper via StreetLink.

You can also email rough.sleeping@baberghmidsuffolk.gov.uk or phone us on on 0300 123 4000 (Option 3).

When we receive a report about someone sleeping rough, we will try to contact them, and verify the individual at the location received in the report.

In some circumstances, interim accommodation will be offered whilst we work with the individual to assess their longer term needs.
