Providing evidence

Sometimes we need evidence so that we can process claims, reductions and changes to your Council Tax. You can submit evidence with our online form or alternatively, you can post evidence to us. All evidence supplied will be copied and returned to you.

The legal authorisation which allows the Council to accept electronic claims can be found below:

Document upload requirements

Make sure your documents are readable and NOT password protected before submitting a form. This will save time in processing your request.

We accept:

• Scanned documents - these must be in PDF format and a maximum size of 1MB
• Digital photos - These must be in any of the following formats: JPG/JPEG, GIF, PNG or TIF/TIFF and a maximum size of 5MB
