Mid Suffolk District Council Chair, Cllr Rowland Warboys presented £1,055 to two charities in Thornham Magna.
Throughout his last year as Chair, Cllr Warboys held several events to raise funds and awareness of the work done by Beyond the Wall and Street Forge Workshops to support youths and adults with disabilities.
Cllr Warboys said: “It has been my privilege to support Street Forge Workshops and Beyond the Wall during my year as Chair of Mid Suffolk District Council.
“Both charities do tremendous work with people from the age of 16 with disabilities, focusing on removing barriers to enable them to achieve their potential for a rich and meaningful life through tuition and guidance.”
