Community Governance Reviews in Mid Suffolk – next steps

Following consultation with residents, Mid Suffolk District Council voted earlier this year to accept the recommendations of its Community Governance Working Group and not to change the administrative boundary between Onehouse Parish Council and Stowmarket Town Council.
Councillors also adopted the final recommendations of the Community Governance Working Group in relation Battisford and Combs, to move the Bowl Meadow development into the Battisford administrative area and not to change the administrative arrangement for Bildeston Road.
As part of the formal process, residents within the affected town and parishes now have until Friday 30 August to make any further public comment about these final recommendations via email.
Feedback will then accompany the recommendations when they go back to Mid Suffolk District Council on Thursday 26 September for final decision.
