Real Christmas tree recycling
There are several ways to recycle your real Christmas tree.
Garden waste collections
If you have a garden waste (brown) bin, during January you can leave your real Christmas tree beside your brown bin on collection day.
Please remove all decorations, containers and plastic.
Please note: Large trees - trees over 7ft tall, or have a trunk thicker that 7cm - cannot be collected. Instead, they can be taken to a recycling centre.
Recycling centres
Real Christmas trees can be taken to a recycling centre in Suffolk and placed in the garden waste container.
Christmas tree collection points
You can take your real Christmas tree, with all decorations, containers and plastic removed, to one of our collection points.
Please leave the tree at the location no later than the day before the collection date listed.
