Solar for Business

West Suffolk Council has teamed up with Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils to offer access to the successful Solar for Business initiative.

Your business could reduce carbon emissions and save money on energy bills. You must have a minimum electricity consumption of 5,000kWh per year. For a firm paying 25p/kWh this would mean electricity bills of around £1250 per year. Electricity generated by the panels is sold to your business at a rate lower than your current tariff, thereby helping to slash energy bills and improve your bottom line.

To be eligible, your business must be within West Suffolk, Babergh or Mid Suffolk’s district boundaries.

To find out more about the scheme email the Environment team at West Suffolk Council or visit Solar for Business.
