The Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 introduced the ASB Case Review. This trigger is designed to give victims of ongoing anti-social behaviour the right to request a review of their case, and bring agencies together to find a solution collaboratively.
You can also read the Suffolk ASB Case Review guidance.
The relevant bodies and responsible authorities who carry out the case review are:
- local authorities
- the police
- Integrated Care Boards in England and local health boards in Wales
- registered providers of social housing who are co-opted into this group
The relevant bodies must publish the Community Trigger procedure, to ensure that victims are aware that they can apply to activate the trigger in appropriate circumstances.
This information should be provided on their websites, and should include:
- the lead agency’s website
- a point of contact
- the procedures for activating the process
