Copdock & Washbrook Ward By-election
A district by-election for the Copdock & Washbrook ward will take place on Thursday 16 October 2025.
The ward area encompasses the parishes of Bentley, Burstall, Chattisham, Copdock & Washbrook, Hintlesham, Wenham Magna and Wenham Parva.
All electors registered and eligible to vote will receive a poll card before polling day, which will let you know where you need to cast your vote.
On polling day, polls will be open from 7am to 10pm.

How to vote
To vote in an election, you must be registered.
If you've recently turned 18, or moved house, you may not be registered. You can register to vote online.
If you would like to vote in person at a polling station, you will need valid Voter ID.
If you are unable to attend the polling station, you can apply to vote by post. You are also able to apply for a proxy vote.
