Assisted waste collections

If you find it difficult to put your bins out due to a permanent disability or medical condition, we can help.

If there is no one else at home who can move the bins, we can collect and return them for you. This is called an 'assisted collection' and it is a free service.

Please note that we are unable to collect bins from within properties, sheds or garages. We are also unable to take bins up or down steps, or over uneven surfaces, such as deep gravel.

Home fire safety visits

Please note that home fire safety visits are not provided by Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils, and we are unable to assist with any queries about this service.
